Waffenstillstand im Jemen endet ohne Verlängerung

A six-month-old UN-brokered ceasefire in Yemen's war between Iran-backed Huthi rebels and a Saudi-led coalition ended Sunday with no word from the rivals on whether it would be extended.

The conflict that started in 2014 has left hundreds of thousands dead and created what the United Nations has called the world's worst humanitarian crisis with widespread malnutrition and disease.

Earlier this week, Palestinian terrorists — one a member of the Western-funded Palestinian Security Services — shot and killed an Israeli officer, before they were killed themselves.

Palestinian Authority (PA) official media outlets and the Fatah party — both headed by Mahmoud Abbas — have responded with support for the attack that killed the Israeli officer.

Israel greift erneut Flughafen in Damaskus an

An Israeli attack targeting a Syrian airport tore a hole in the runway and also damaged a structure close to the military side of the airfield, satellite photos analyzed Friday by The Associated Press showed.

The attack Wednesday night on Aleppo International Airport comes as an Israeli strike only months earlier took out the runway at the country’s main airport in the capital, Damascus, over Iranian weapons transfers to the country.
